RIDE THE WAVE

SEAS THE DAY

DROP IN • RIDE THE WAVE • SEAS THE DAY •

So much more than just a physical activity, surfing is connecting. It is community. And of course, it’s all sorts of fun. It is a meditative retreat offering lessons in patience, intuition and respect. And it’s that nature based therapy that we all need and crave. It also has the potential to provide life-changing medicine to those who struggle with an array of conditions; from anxiety, grief and depression; to autism or addiction. Did I mention it’s really fun? I work from the mindfulness that what compels each of us to surf is a colorful spectrum; unique as every wave.

Join me and learn for the very first time, or emerge from that rider’s block to gain some insight into an area where you might be stuck in your surfing journey. Once you’re onboarded, you can join our Auspiseas Surf Club, for hangs of 5s, 10s, and beyond.

I work both privately & with small groups. Beginners and intermediates welcome.

PROTECT WHAT YOU LOVE

Every time we paddle out, we are directly connecting with nature;

From the wind, tides and swells; to the birds, fish and whales. But out of the water, we are never disconnected.

Naturally, surfers are among the first to take notice when things are off. We are hyper-aware planet ocean is experiencing a slew of environmental impacts and changes; from plastic pollution, contaminated runoff and oil spills; to severe weather, eroding coastlines and disappearing ecosystems.

As surfers, we have an opportunity and obligation to educate one another about these changes and empower each other to be part of the solution.

FIGHT CLIMATE CHANGE. PROTECT OUR COASTLINES. PLANT SEATREES.

Bolsa Chica Designs has partnered with SeaTrees to directly support communities and scientists who protect and regenerate blue carbon coastal ecosystems. This includes planting mangrove trees, restoring kelp forests, coral reefs, seagrass meadows, and conserving coastal watersheds. When coastlines erode, so too do our precious waves, which is why $1 from every BCD purchase goes to protecting critical coastal ecosystems. Watch the short video below to learn about SeaTrees kelp restoration efforts here in California.
